Kalleshwara Temple

The Kalleshwara Temple was built by two dynasties that ruled Karnataka during the 10th century - Rashtrakuta Dynasty in the mid-10th century, and the Western Chalukya Empire at around the end of the 10th century. The temple complex houses shrines for Shiva, Narasimha, Ganesha, Kartikeya, Surya, Sarasvati and Durga and is a beautiful example of Chalukyan and Rashtrakuta architectural style.
